We got into this mess due to short term party political decisions on our infrastructure such as power, water, rail that are in private hands and run for the benefit of shareholders and executive Directors, not for the public. We need proper long term investment in power and take key utilities and infrastructure back into public ownership.

  20. We do need reform but not like Bodger says. The railways, water and power generation needs to be brought back into public ownership. Since Thatcher sold everything off, the investments that should have gone into the services and staff have gone into bloated executives salaries, bonuses and shareholders pockets.
