  1. It just isnt the best 911. It has an unreliable engine and is well known to suffer water leaks and various other issues. I have several friends who owned them and had issues. These were all fixed with the 997 which had a brand new engine and long service intervals, (18000 miles). I owned a 997 and it was bullet proof and a big improvement over the 996.
