  1.  @DrMontague  speculation.. none of us have any idea how many did or didnt vote tory. I know quite a few Doctors and nurses and anecdotally none of my friends in the NHS voted for the tories.

  3. According to the tories, there are 130,000 vacancies in the NHS. Staff are leaving or are on strike and they cant recruit new staff. If the budget is there to hire new people, they have the budget to pay fairly. Here’s a suggestion: use some of the budget to pay staff far better, recruit less so as not to go over budget but it will mean less churn and make the NHS far more attractive.
