  61.  @beautifulbeing734  I have a couple questions. What are you referring to when you say 'these people are bullying'? Do you mean asking where she is from or some of the over the top comments from people? I dnt have an issue with black-specific charities but do you not think it was racist of her to turn away a halfcast victim of DV for being "privileged"? Also are you aware Marlene seems to have done a Patrice Collours and obtained donations by fraud using multiple aliases and her expenditures appear suspect? I believe she is supposedly being investigated hence why she stepped down from the charity although no doubt she will use another alias or work-around to obtain the money. I dont agree with all the comments and some of the stuff being said ia over the top. However Marlene clearly has a huge, unwarranted chip on her shoulder and was pulling the race card and destroyed an old woman's last years. Its unforgivable. I find her deplorable. And people are quite fed up of the race-card being pulled by people like her. Its effecting and dividing society and people are biting back. There is a risk of those people becoming like the Marlene Headley's of the world if they dont pull back and stop getting carried away and stop exaggerating. Since 2011/Mark Duggan and more recently George Floyd things have gone Twilight Zone. Everyone needs to snap out of it and get back to reality and the lovely country we once had. We're becoming like America and destroying ourselves. I feel sorry for the Gen Z and Gen Alpha growing up in this. Untold damage has been done and set us back a good 40 years.

  91.  Anya Wale  Woke people are the most racist people I've encountered. It's not paranoia. You came on a thread where people were arguing against woke culture to argue with us. Logically it seemed you were a defender of the woke. And now you're back to calling the woke victims of racism. In not going to feed you after this comment. End of the day not every woke person has even experienced racism. And this isnt a sudden realisation that these people are racist. This has been brewing for ten years. Clocked it back in 2010 around the Mark Duggan riots. If not before that. So, you have seen articles about anti-semitism because you look at every paper, every day? That's prob why I havent seen it and you struggle to understand why? Not everyone obsessively reads every news article like you. And as I said I heard the accusations of anti-semitism against Corbyn but didnt know exactly what it was he was supposed to have done. The Labout candidates accused of such were also Jewish. The arguement against them was because they were against Zionism. Not against Jews. And I'm not getting into the debate over if Israel occupying more land is legal or not. That's not really a topic I can speak on with confidence and it's not we we're discussing. I explained to you a legitimate reason why maybe Jews are not told to go back to their own country. Another reason may be because people dont know Jews are Jews just by looking at them due to their skin colour. And I've never heard Jews complain about Germans, ever. And yes, that is key. You cant keep blaming people who werent there for something they didnt do and not expect to be told to fuck off. You have a chip on your shoulder complaining about UK one of the least racist places in the world. A place the abolished slavery. But you clung to the past and expect people not to get bored of your shit. You werent even there. Grow up. Stop blaming people for shit they didnt do. British people are not the same people who were here before and Britain isnt the only country to have enslaved people. You are so bitter and it pushes people away. It holds no relevance to current grievances. This is about racism. This is the video we are under. And what white, male pain are you talking about? How did that enter the chat? You've gone completely left-field. Are you saying you're a white male in pain? Your position keeps appearing to change. And youre shooting out random unrelated shit. Honestly wasting my time. Whatever race you are and whichever side you're mad at I hope you work your shit out and stop imposing it on others.im out ✌

  97.  @chrisgarvey5939  I grew up in UK amongst black people and had no idea about any of these views until 10 years ago on social media. A couple of racist comments prior to that and some on media but nothing to this scale. I did grow up feeling uncomfortable around some black people due to the racism I'd recieved but there will always be racism. Its something I should have accepted at an earlier age and just pushed my confidence through. I knew however a lot of my insecurity was imaginings. These kids these days have their imaginings catered to. And very little of their emotions are based in real world events. It seems there was a disconnect between working class black people who I grew up with vs middle class people who we are now mixing with online, along with Americans who appear to be quite racist although that could just be a numbers thing due to the size of America. I would never have been exposed to this level of racism offline and to this day am not. But I do know some of these woke racists in real life. I see their comments online. I think they're saying stuff they largely dont mean and just picked up from someone else. In the real world most of this stuff didnt matter. The institutions pushing it are only doing so now due to how social media has brought things to their attention they wouldnt have been aware of. I'm Centre-Left due to my age and expriences I cannot be too radical either way as my foundational expriences around normal black people are too cemented. I cannot imagine how young people are coping in a world of public shaming online and peer pressure to conform. Young gay people cant even discover their sexuality without being told they are transphobic or people such as myself told we're fetishizing.

  200.  @chrisgarvey5939  I think it's a mistake to assume they're mostly white. I saw this stuff first come from black people. I see it from all races and I dont really see it as a feature of white liberals specifically. I think that's also just another way to demonize white people so they get fucked from both sides. From The Racist Left aswell as from the moderates and those on The Right. That's giving racist black people what they want. They win either way then. But everyone will have had a diff exprience of where they first saw this. We have to remember white people are the majority so it may appear like they're doing it the most but it's about raw percentages. Its black people who started complaining about appropriation first. As someone from "the black community" and about where woke culture came from it started with black power movements. We could go to extremes and trace it back to Marxism but CRT was pushed by black professors first. And I think the white people who jumped on the bandwagon werent even doing it to be politically minded in terms of what side to vote. I dont think their minds were that intellectually steeped in politics to think that far ahead. As a leftie and liberal myself who is against woke culture and a former sjw many of us did/do it because we think it's what we're supposed to say and do to be right and also many are afraid of being called racist so go along with it. The racist notions they pick up along the way are from racist black people and they just repeat those racist things to get their friends approval. I dont think they started out racist but became racist along the way. Its indoctrination. They slag off other whites as that'what their black friends do. Then they slag off other blacks who dont hold those Far Left views because they see black peoppe di it so think that's what they're supposed to do like we see with Antifa members who call blacks coons for not thinking the same. It's all just sheep following the blind.

  262. There are Labour supporters who are anti-woke though such as myself. So that doesnt even make sense to imply something isnt anti-woke if the person supports Labour. And many GB viewers are Labour voters like myself. If you are woke and are offended that you're being taken the mick out of just say so. To make out we arent Labour supporters or lefties because we see the divisiveness of woke culture is rather silly. I grew up with black people with relatively mild racism. So I know how many black people generally think. Since woke culture it has created a huge divide amongst black and white people and is the opposite of liberal and anti-racism. Just yesterday some woke girl on YouTube was arguing with me how black people are discriminated in every facet of life, she clearly hasnt hung out with many to believe that, and in the same breath was using the black racial slur "c@@ns" and "Uncle Tom's about black people who say they dont experience much racism Woke ideology is racist at its core. It accuses blacks of not being black anymore and calls them racial slurs if they dont tow the party line and it claims white people are privileged oppressors who dont experience racism. Its doesnt represent reality and is a fringe cult that is brainwashing people via social media. It's known as psychic driving like the kind that happened during MK Ultra. You repeat something enough times people will adopt it and believe it. Even our vocab has changed. We're walking buzzwords. Talk about 1984. People need to go back to what we knew to be the truth before 2010. Before social media began brainwashing us. We know woke culture is nonsense and creates arguments and destroys families and marriages. People divorcing their partners because their partner claims they dont know if they are racist. People getting people fired from their jobs for having a diff opinion and harrassing their family members including elderly relatives. We need to remember how we were as a society and resist this CIA-style brainwash. I'm far from a conspiracy theorist but you have to wonder when society has been flipped upside down and we know they have done these kind of experiments before. What better way than to do it en masse via a very useful tool such as social media.

  490.  @yorewhyworry7217  Denying white people can experience racism in UK is due to bitterness. Otherwise you'd be honest. Its illogical to claim they dont exprience any. Where did I say colonisation wasnt racist? I said it was the past and wasnt relevant to modern-day racism. You are purposefully misreading what I'm writing because you refuse to acknowledge there is no widespread systematic racism towards other races. So you keep having to hark back to colonisation Which is off-topic. If poverty was a result of racism then why is it British-Africans are doing fine academically vs British Jamaicans? I'm female. And you're being racist telling me I cant comment on black people because of my race. My opinion is just as valid considering I've grown up with black people my whole life as well as I've done my research on this topic. You're trying to invalidate what I'm saying based on ny race because you dont like what I'm saying instead of attacking what's being said. English was not forced on British-Jamaicans and British-Africans. They literally came here for work. Again with your bitter narrative. And again with historical stuff that has nothing to do with if there is modern day racism. Ive read and listened to everything that is fact-based. You on the other hand keep harping on about the past. Noone is buying this crap anymore. Stay bitter. Come back when you can talk on concrete modern day facts and are less bitter and vengeful. Otherwise people arent going to listen to you when you claim they dont exprience racism.

  540.  @Ariadne-cg4cq  we already have charities that cater to the majority culture. You're pulling the race card here. Black people have a secondary culture like white foreigners. If there was a Ukraine charity I wouldnt mind because there are certain in-cultural aspects and understandings. There is nothing wrong with people going to someone who theyre think will understand then better culturally and where they can talk about certain things that person will just get better. I'm white but grew up with black people and disconnected from them the last number of years due to moving with a diff ethnic group. I cannot relate to my new social circle in the same way and feel quite disconnected from myself and what I know. Headley's issue is she turned away a halfcast girl who is half black thus should qualify but Headley accused her of being privileged. Im sorry but for someone who has felt the brunt of woke culture more than most being that its my social circle falling apart and being divided and effects me more than a white person with no black social circle I dislike this woke crap the most. But I'm now noticing an over compensation from white people and they have now become like the woke. Pulling the race card and being overeactionary. Instead of one side exacerbating racial tension we now have both sides. People need to reel it in just a bit and be more rational. Having a Black History Month isnt racist. I never got offended by it before so wont start now. I am however offended by the new woke content they share during BHM which is a slightly diff issue and not about having a BHM atall. I love diff cultures so it's niceto learn about them more intensely where I wouldnt normally. We did ethnic days at school where we would make and share food from said country and learn about the culture. It helps bring us closer. But anti-woke people are kicking up a storm over such things. They look and sound as cringe-worthy as the woke. Fed up of both stirring the pot. It's making things worse but they dont realise theyve become the thing they hate.

  575.  @vickyflanagan5795  I dont drive and dont intend to but have you tried informing them the impact cars have. I never knew they had a big impact on animals so maybe they just dont know. Some might be aware but need to drive to get kids to school on time and they know they can reduce their impact elsewhere. I'm vegan but I just bought a bottle of washing liquid which will most likely end up in a sea creatures stomach. I cannot remove all impact but I do go to eco shops to buy what I can. I just find their washing liquids very watery and useless so switched back. Whilst cars have an impact on pollution I find smoking more triggering tobmy asthma. Not using that as a point of defence. Just something I wanted to mention as I have severe asthma whenever someone smokes around me otherwise I never get it. But I logically assume cars have a long term impact. I used to be anti-GMO but have since learnt it is actually beneficial in terms of crop yield. So we can feed more people. Thanks. I will read it. Sounds quote 1984 :) To clarify I got social media in 2007. Back then it was very basic with quizzes and games on Fbk and not much in the way of what it's like now with all the groups and news and info that goes viral. That started later around 2010 and that was when I hit my conspiracy theory phase when I joined debate groups. But I became vegetarian back in 91 for about a year. Then I went vegan in 2005. So 5 years before social media changed up and I dont recall being anywhere near vegan posts til much later, potentially around 2014 or something. Basically 10 years after I went vegan and started recycling. I wanted to be a vet when I was a child so that's why I became vegan. I just became an adult and became exposed to more info about what happens to animals from the RSPCA I visited when still in school and fr leaflets people on street stands gave me etc. It certainly was never to do with social media influence. You're using social media diff to how everyone else uses it. Publicly I didnt have those types of convoys either. It was very mild influence and just an logical conclusion from caring about animals. It was hardly some driven propaganda being fed to me as it was barely around me. I'm well aware of what other animals do to each other. That doesnt excuse me from doing it when I am aware of my impact. My last point was for comparison purposes. People treat all vegans as radical. Can I not just be vegan without people treating me those those fringe groups and me having to constantly justify myself?

  576.  @vickyflanagan5795  I was born in the 70s :) Am in my 40s. As I stated earlier I dont drive a car and dont intend to. My reasons were because they're bad for the environment. I decided this 17 years ago that I didnt want a car. I already know about roadkill and thought of that earlier and know the effects clearing land does but thought you meant something else. Its funny you mention coal fires. I ws thinking only yesterday how our coal fire that we had as kids prob contributed to my asthma as I currently have a food van out the front burning wood to make pizza and it has caused me severe asthma and I've spoken to an enviromental professor recently who wrote a book and he explained how damaging those wood fires are. Dont misrepresent me. I dont have the energy. I didnt say I eat GM food. I made a point that I was against it but have since heard it yields more crops. You know you can talk to me without being rude. I like conversation and I like to learn to refine my views. Being rude just pushes me away. No..I dont have kids. Are you getting comments mixed up as I said I didnt drive and then you responded saying I did and now you're saying I said I am a parent. Not tried bamboo socks..will wait til my.others wesr out although I sew them so they last longer. Again, I do not own a car and I dont know if I made a typo but I'm pretty sure I said I dont drive and dont plan to. Yes, I've seen the Pacific Clean Up videos. It's one of the reasons I started using the eco shop my friend opened. Just checked and I def didnt make a typo. I clearly said I dont drive.

  577.  @vickyflanagan5795  hun. I dont use cars. I live in a small town and walk everywhere. I very rarely get the bus and never get taxis unless I'm with someone who chose to. My response about GMOs was how you phrased it. I'm well aware we cannot remove harm. I dont claim that. My aim is to reduce harm. Pharmaceutical companies have nothing to do with me being vegan. "Big Pharma" sounding like me when I was a conspiracy theorist. Unless not eating meat upsets the food chain as per your mention I'm not going to eat it. Not wanting to eat animals because of how they're treated is not ridiculous. I do advocate for better farming practices. You know, considering people still eat meat. Thats just obvious. I dont know what you mean by health food obsession. I just eat what I used to eat when I was a meat eater minus the meat replaced with meat substitutes. I'm actually unhealthy for a vegan as I eat chocolates and sweets still. So you're placing something onto vegans that doesnt apply. We eat just as unhealthy as meat eaters do. I'm aware animals die making soy. You really are a condescending bitch. Why not ask if I know instead of making assumptions. I choose to go for what I see as a lesser harm. I think a quicker kill is better than those stuck in farming practices suffering for months on end. Would you like me to stop eating all food because you expect me to be a perfect vegan because you assume that's what vegans tout or something? We dont profess that. We know we still cause harm just by being here. we simply want to reduce harm in the ways we can..its not rocket science I literally dont know what you're referring to again about Big Pharma. I loterally just eat fruit, veg and some meat substitute. You talk about them profiting as if farmers don't profit. So I dont get your point exactly. Just seems you have a personal beef with Big Pharma no pun. I've read it costs more to produce meat. So who is correct. Who knows. Anyway when I commented on this thread I didnt realise a long arse debate was going to ensue. I'm busy. Enjoy your day. unfollowing and muting

  737.  @chinezeolisah1308  racism is very rare in the UK. I'm in my 40s. You will have pockets where racism is higher like North of England, where Kriss Donald and Ross Parker (both white) were killed. But no, racism IS rare. That's if you go by how many people live here and how many people exprience it and how often. Like I said I've heard a few people make racist comments about non-white people in my whole life and seen more from black people. I dont know why you think I'm not in a position to speak about its frequency but you think you are. I live here, Sunshine. There have been maybe two victims I can think of who have told me they've exprienced it. Including me that makes three. Of course there are more victims than speak about it but I'm telling you how often I SEE it happen and you dont see it happen often. "So common it's a culture for you guys"?? Bruv, you couldnt be more wrong. This is why you shouldnt speak on a country you dont even live in. So now you claim the victims are minorities. So you admit it doesnt happen to many people. As for their voices being barely heard we werent speaking up. And yes, when racism does happen on those rare occasions we did just live with it. I dont recall making a fuss over the racism I went through because it was very rare. Honestly your view of UK is so unbelievably skewed. And some idiot will pass on your misinformation and this is why people believe this. Chinese whispers. Its destroying race relations because now people are becoming resentful over an issue that didnt exist. If you care about race relations then stop chatting sh*t about things you know nothing about. Go and actually ask a variety of people from UK about the racism here. We were doing fine before social media spread this academic rubbish into impressionable and gullible young minds.

  860.  @johnkitching2248  I am unaware of the stats for underepresentation in unemployment for black people. I do know working class white boys are the poorest demographic. Regarding g black employment rates this might be due to poor education outcomes. Stats show Jamaicans have a high drop out rate and poorer academic outcome at the same schools compared to Africans and one potential factor is a lack of discipline and higher fatherlessness in Jamaican households compared to Africans. The lower employment rate would be worth comparing between the two demographics. Re the low income they arent paid less byt take jobs that pay less. The same arguement applied to the gender pay gap where women have a lower income overall due to working less hours than men. It has been shown some women are paid more than men in various positions. So black people may do worse off in jobs or take less academic or challenging jobs if they have done poorer at school. Thus poorer housing would also follow. They may also be choosing areas that cost more to live or spend their money on othwr stuff such as the women tend to pay out quite a bit on their hair whereas white women dont have this same expense. Hearing what some black women pay monthly for hair care products I believe this could also be a factor regarding how much income people are prepared to spend on housing vs other things. Re health stats during covid it was shown black people did worse as they had poorer health to begin with such as higher obesity rates and that they were less likely to follow up health issues with their provider.

  877.  @HerRoyalMelanin I'm from the UK and we didnt use the term "bi-racial". We've picked that up off Americans the last decade from social media. The word "mixed race" didnt even exist until that late 90s and wasnt in wider circulation until much later. So everyone used the word halfcast when describing someone with one black, one white parent. Also those "from the community" whatever that new-found term means would use the word "brownin". Halfcast is not derogatory atall. Same as people have come out and said mullato isnt. Half isnt implying you're half a human or half of a pure race. Its saying half of your heritage is of another race to the majority. I grew up with that word. It's the word halfcast people used to refer to themselves and taught us to use. They still use it in Africa to refer to themselves. They literally sell a product called halfcast bleaching cream which you can see women making on YouTube videos. Also the word negro isnt racist either. It literally means black in Spanish. The other n word is considered racist however with people lying left, right and centre about halfcast being offensive when it literally means "half-race" then I dont believe people anymore. Coloured was also not considered offensive and Africans also use this word. You can find articles written by Africans about their "halfcast celebrities" with people of diff races such as black/white or Indian/black. We used to call them coolie but apparently people also find this offensive all of a sudden. Go Jamaica and they call half white kids "white". Its simply to reference your other half and in no way belittles your genetic make-up. It had nothing atall to do with bwing impure. Ironically Americans use the slavery one-drop rule and call people black who are actually white. Americans use racist def yet moan about ours . Jon Agard writes one poem and people read way to in to it. I was there. I grew up with this word. And I'm telling you factually it was never used to be offensive. Problem is acadamia give kids things to deconstruct and now you find everything offensive even down to the definition of what a woman is. Why does Shatta Wale have a song called Halfcast? Why did the boys from London create Halfcast Podcast two years ago? Why did noone have an issue with the term until a few years ago after George Floyd. We only used the word mixed race to cover all bases on the census forms incase someone was a mix of more than two races due to us becoming more mixed as a nation. Ive started using the term halfcast more now simply because of people outright lying about the term. This rewriting if history is utterly Orwellian and I'm not having it. Also just for clarity back in 2000 there was a mixed race guy who wrote a news article saying he found the term mixed race offensive for the same reason as halfcast and in a study done by Peter Thatchell he found people were offended by the term bi-racial aswell. People cant say BAME anymore and POC is a reverse of coloured people. In your own lifetime people are saying these terms are offensive. Its speed up due to social media fake outrage. Remember that when you think the term halfcast is supposedly offensive
