Me learning what some black people thought of me as a teenage white girl. I grew up looking up to black people and this was crushing to find out people who spoke against whites being racist were being racist themself.

@iscream336 "some" white people had generalised black people. And no I hadnt forgotten but being a hypocritical racist means hes no better. And you said it right there. Things were painted a certain way from his birth. Americans need to stop doing that. My mum lived in US for a short period and she would go and play with the black kids there. This was in the 50s/60s. In The South. People need to take others how they find them and stop generalizing whole races

@iscream336 actually they were cautious with my mum. Point being presumptions are made to protect oneself but to out and out claim all white people cant be trusted when you havent interacted with them to know that makes one no better. And you seem a little biased yourself saying "some white people are good". I've only seen three racist comments from white people in my whole life. I'm in my 40s. I've seen way more racist comments from black people. But I dont think all black people are racist because that wouldnt make sense to think that way. unfollowing
