@AngryPanda. I have friends in their 40s and 50s wrapped up in it, one of them who is from the hip hop scene so he should know better as he's grown up with these people. Surprised anyone who knows black people would fall for woke culture.

@TheAlwaysPrepared ahh. Yeah, I know one woke 20 something who has now become a uni lecturer who claims white people cant exprience racism. This guy has never hung out with black peoppe properly. Proper geek type who wouldnt eb able to hold a convo if he sat down with the average urban type, and I dont mean the street chavs. He doesnt know about what it was like growing up in the 90s in black dancehall nights or hanging out with these people or the lingo we use or the culture. College cretin who hasnt got a clue and only knows about black people via what his uni text books taught him.

Much better to let them develop organically rather than feed it to them. That way they form their own opinions on race. And they dont read into things where they wouldnt have had they not been told to be on guard for it.

Just so you know these guys accept donations through Patreon I believe. I also stopped paying my tv licence around the same time. Was wasted these last ten years as barely used it.

re the point in feminism I think we're seeing the pendulum seeing with incels. Hopefully the pendulum swings back to the centre with all these issues.

In UK we dont lump all black, brown and yellow people together under "Black". She is black. Small "b".

@davepike7546 I know several people personally who have gone woke, posting racist statuses on their social media and calling things racist that arent. People I have known for years. This is no longer just on media or acadamia. This stared to spread around Brexit (the first one), but particularly the second one and after George Floyd. Seeing friends, including white friends, using racial slurs against white people nd seeing another friend Ive known for 20 years back saying white and black people arent equal and another I've known roughly the same saying that white people cant experience racism shows me this is something to be concerned about.

Re us making progress we are seeing progress with more wokism but also more anti-wokism. Maybe with Gen Alpha they will be less woke than Gen Z. I just hope the pendulum doesnt swing too far back the other way that we cant see value at looking at racism black, brown or yellow people go through. Hopefully we come full circle to where we were in the 80s-2010 and see racism as being something we all go through but that we stop using to attack each other with..
