@jackdiamond931 you claim when white people receive abuse in UK it's just words. Have you heard of Kriss Donald and Ross Parker? They were teo white boys picked out for their race and slaughtered by asians (Pakistani) with big knives in what the killers joked was "a blood bath". You seem to think because you havent exprienced much racism that it doesnt happen much to white people. I dont know how old you are but you reference stories from grandparents etc. How about my gen? Millenials. I grew up in the 80s and 90s. Racism was at its lowest point in the 90s-2010. Yet there was still racism towards white people. Infact there was more racism towards white people than towards other races. It was on black tv shows and from our black "friends". Black people being racist to other black people. Jamaicans towards Africans. You dont seem to have grown up around much black content/people to claim white people dont experience racism from them. And I can say growing up I've seen maybe only a handful of white people say something racist. There was much more racism from black people. It was on tv. It wasnt anecdotal. One 8 year old white boy killed himself due to the racist bullying he recieved at school. You really do speak from a place of ignorance and I can always tell the people who havent really surrounded themselves with black people/content. It existed. However, like I said we were at our best from the late 80s-early 2010. Social media and American politics messed us up. It is reprogramming people who know better and telling others who lack experience around those people atall how to think. Claiming white people have it better is unfounded and ridiculous. First off black people never had legislated racism against them. White people do. Diversity quotas. Secondly socially its diff for every person and social group and area and individual situation. It depends on what racist people are around. And like I said for me black people were the ones being more racist.

@jackdiamond931 and if you bothered to watch the interview it is Jamaicans and whites not thriving aswell compared to Africans, Indians and Asians who are. I wonder how much diversity quotas influence that.

@synlion it doesnt matter whether you're in a white majority country or not. Racism towards white people will still impact them the same way. I dont know why people recently began to think otherwise. Theyve fallen for the majority/minority rhetoric. We didnt have these terms growing up. I grew up with black people. If ny black friends were racist towards me it effected me. To note the only legislated racism we have in UK is against white people, the majority. And that's in the form of diversity quotas where we have seen people lose job access, uni admissions, and actually recently also very sacked form longterm jobs to make way for a quota.

@jackdiamond931 also bs about why white people might use the n word to black people. Dude, do you actually have any black friends. You said it yourself. Black people arwnt all the same or a stereotype. My ex-boyfriend asked me to use the 'n' word in the bedroom. We used that word in the r&b clubs when rap songs came on. Some friends were ok with it in convo and others werent. You talk about black people like you know them but its obvious you're just an out of touch, woke saviour

@fiveleavesleft6521 its not true that non-white people will exprience racism in their lifetime. Why do you believe that lie? There are black people on tv and on YouTube videos stating theyve never exprienced racism. Why do make the faulty assumption that because there are more white people that they will exprience racism more? Why do you assume it will come from white people and not one of their own like I exprienced growing up around Jamaicans and how some have their dislike for Africans.

I think because America is so much bigger and diff areas are diff culturally in America they would have to really go state by state.

@vinniechan race was never an issue in UK until maybe 5 years ago when this rubbish was pushed. I grew up with black people closely the last 30 years. Race issues just didnt exist apart from the odd racist which was quite rare. And it was mostly coming from black people.

@davekubala544 they have the data for UK. Not US. US will have diff outcomes. In UK Africans are academically at the top. In The US its asians and African immigrants. African Americans are prob lowest academically.

@X6Thunder a current specific data study would unveil more than maybe Sowell has over the years. After all it's nowtthat is relevant and people love to yammer on about a past that doesnt exist anymore.

@deal2live the term "black British"didnt exist socially until the last 5 years. None of my black mates called themselves that. The only time any of us mentioned our "identity" was to clarify the not obvious. So we're all living in the same country so that was never mentioned. We would say what their origin was because that was the diff between us. So Jamaican, African, Gambian, Nigerian etc. But that wasnt how they ran around talking about themselves except for when you initially might ask. The only time "British-Jamaican" is used is on the census forms for data records.

@brother1ray aside from poss acadmeics we never heard the term "institutional racism" until a few years ago on social media. Because in UK we never had legislated racism and most of us never heard of diversity quotas until very recently Racism was just racism. The terms "insitutional" and "systemic" were unheard of.
1
@brother1ray Wow. That's crazy.
1
@brother1ray ? I'm saying its crazy that term existed that long ago without people in the mainstream having heard of it . But you're taking my comment out of context and I cant be arsed with someone picking a dumb fight. muting

@vietimports I dont even think it has a class issue. It is the same that if you work hard you can get anywhere in life. Immigrants come here without a pot to piss in and zero grasp of English and make it. Saying class is an issue is repeating a Marxist lie. We can work our way up. Opportunities may not always present themselves based on circumstance but any class of person can make it.
