@bloodcircle3885 in UK in the 80s growing up until maybe 5 years ago we defined English as a white ethnic group with ancestors native to England. It comes from Anglo Saxon. We would call our friends of other races what they were. Persian, Jewish, Jamaican, Ghanian etc. However we are all British.

I usedd to have a tiny crush on him when I first discovered him. Yes, Im a "straight, white female" and I know he is a gay man.😂😂

@traypaquette7887 yep. Infact we never called ourselves British back then. I called myself English and they would call themselves Jamaican, Ghanian, Jewish etc. Its only the last 5 years or so I've referred to myself as British due to constant conversations about identity. On census forms we have British section but thats for all races but we still never focused on that part of us. All people would say "Im from England" regardless of race but when it came to ethnicity their heritage came first.

@veronicabatteham9864 this tribe stuff can be compared in Germany and America with the Volk/folks clan stuff and the studies of Hereter. James Lindsay covered this. W.E.B Dubois and Hitler both studied the same works.

@iguiste23 being ethnically English and being from England are slightly diff.

In studies Indians fit in well. They have the lowest prison population and higher academic outcomes and dont generally bother people. He's talking about specific people who have cultural values that directly conflict with ours.

Saw Miko Peled when he spoke at a Labour conference in Brighton several years back. Nice guy

which if anything makes the ratio fall to being more Muslims than Europeans re your Brexit comment. I would disagree that Muslims dont integrate though. Ive got several Muslim exes and friends who are normal and nice. No diff to anyone else.

@jermainedidcock7224 no. He was talking about those who support Hamas. He mentioned Brits in the equation

@paulcooper1223 Wow! Youre rather hostile for no reason. Im not speaking for everyone in UK clearly. Im speaking about those I grew up with and came across. My best mate was Persian. My other best mate was Jewish. I have exes from Carribean, Africa Middle-East and Asia. This is what they called/still call themselves. Not just to me but amongst others of their racial demographic. Perhaps if you had any non-white friends you might know this. They share their heritage same as we do and dont do a Marlene Headley over it. Its how I learned to call them that to begin with. From them. They were proud of their heritage. And regarding saying theyre form England would be if theyre outside of England and saying what country they came from. Not what they are heritage-wise. Nationality and ethnicity are not the same. For example, in Jamaica they call it coming from farin(foreign). They would apply that to black Brits. Tbh in Jamaica they wouldnt recognise those guys as Jamaican even though that is their heritage because Jamaica to Jamaicans is seen as nationality like being British. And any race can be Jamaican. They wouldnt call themselves Jamaican-English. Our census forms dont work that way. Its British-Jamaican. Im white-British on census forms. Then there are other white categories aswell. Jewish people wouldnt call themselves English unless its in their heritage. Again, youre conflating ethnicity with nationality. And in UK we dont categorise that way due to the census forms. And you sound like like someone who doesnt have any non-white friends. I don't have any white exes, like atall. I've kissed a couple white guys since I was a teen and Im now early 40s. So coming on here and trying to educate me is rather arrogant. All this from someone who looks like he's never had black pvssy in his life. Relic from the past? Hun, as I said noone was calling themselves British outside of forms until maybe 5 years ago when these conversations kept coming up online. We called ourselves by our ethnicity and only stated where we lived if relavent. And it was framed as what country one has come from. Pls stop the woke saviour routine. You are causing racial divies by putting it into peoples' heads that there is some sort of discrimination going on that isnt. I positively loathe people like you.

@susanferrari5166 Im English first too but also British. Because if I speak to an English person in America I will want to clarify that I'm a British English person.

@Joe-og6br I knew a guy who was a product of first cousin relations. He lived in London and was an ex-Muslim. Said he was worried noone would ever want to be with him as he was unattractive due to how he was born. He was also terrified by other Muslims trying to expose him as he still posed as a Muslim but tried to make then more moderate through conversations but some reacted angrily.

I dont agree with Douglas when he says noone cares about Palestinians. There are Jews against Zionism. Miko Peled as an example who I'd be interested in the boys interviewing. Also I used to be on the pro-Palestinian side. People arguing for Palestinians and maybe not focusing on other Muslim conflicts is because se werent aware or it wasnt highlightwd as such. It wasnt driven by anti-semitism on my part. Although it likely is by many Muslims. Two positions can exist at once. People can hate Israal and care about fellow Muslims. Pretty sure those in Gaza care about other Muslims and Palestinians.
1
@DadsCigaretteRun yep. It appears that way. It was poor taste to go out and protest for Palestine right after a Hamas attack.
