When he mentions suicide after abortion is he accounting for why. I took an overdose after my abortion...because the guy didnt support me through the abortion. Not because I regretted the abortion. And also the change in hormones after the abortion can mess up your mind state for a bit.

@murderoustendencies yep. Last guy I hooked up with stealthed me. I got the emergency coil and thankfully was ok but the coil is an abortificant if it stops the pregnancy after fertilisation. I have also had an abortion after a guy stealthed me. No regrets

@mightisright nope. I wasnt impacted negatively by my abortion. I would have been more impacted giving up a child.

@billmartins5545 It is hard on many mum's to have disabled kids. During covid one mum in UK killed her child as she couldnt cope and didnt have people babysitting like before to give her a break. I think it's fair to abort a child with serious disabilities. But not late stage. Unless the baby is going to die after birth.

@laurameszaros9547 yep. There was that girl in a UK uni who was deplatformed or something for being pro-life. She is with one group called ADF but cant remember what it stands for. I signed the petition for her to have free speech on being pro-life. And that's coming from someone who had an abortion.

In UK they dont teach you about it in school. Ireland is religious hence why they place more emphasis on it.

@ccrisc100 this is exactly what they did in Hitler's Germany at the beginning of The Holocaust. They then went on to euthanise babies and children with deformities. They then went on to gas them and people knew these kids were being taken to these "homes" which they never came back from. Bus loads of kids would turn up and within hours the chimney would fill the sky with acrid smoke of these burning humans. And kids would tease each other about "going up in the chimney" if they misbehave. Then from children it went to adults who were seen to be afflicted or a burden on society. There is a YouTube video on it. The nurses would hold the babies while they died after theyd injected them and they believed they were doing the right thing. Those baby steps made it easier to graduate onto older children and then adults. Kind of like grooming. On that note I am for abortion but not late stage.

I'm vegan but had an abortion twenty years ago and if I fell pregnant I would have another abortion. My reasoning now is based on what I have read that says a fetus doesnt have its neural plate laid down to be able to feel pain. I dont agree with late stage abortion unless the mother's life is at risk.

@laurameszaros9547 For me maybe 14 weeks. Some women may not have the processes set by 12 weeks ie referrals and such. I had an abortion at 12 weeks and another at around 8 weeks. The second one was easier as it was the suction method. The latter you take a prostaglandin pressure and then I cant quite remember but what happens after but I bled for weeks.

@laurameszaros9547 it def isnt a subject that has one clear answer. It's something that should be up for debate because of that reason.

@x-popone6817 and that it hasnt got awareness nor entered the world and created any experiences. It's best to terminate before it feels pain.

@x-popone6817 the diff between feeling pain and not feeling pain is suffering. I wouldnt want it to suffer. If it cant feel pain combined with lack of awareness and having not created an existence with memories it doesnt matter to terminate as no life has truly begun unlike people who have lived and have awareness and emotional feelings and attachments and memories and loved ones etc it is essentially still cells that havent truly begun to live life. It wont feel it. It wont care. It's not even self-aware.
