@tturtle1659 well I'm someone who grew up with black people and I always say we have gone back 50 years because in the 90s me and my black mates didnt have much of an issue with race. I'm in my 40s so all my life racism was something anyone of any race could experience and perpetrate and now people are saying only white people can be racist and that only we cannot experience racism. There is extreme racism towards white people now and I've never thought about race so much in all my life. I had a friend at the weekend whose hair I canerowed who was scared to go out wearing it incase she got attacked because she isnt black. So it is true that we have gone back many decades as it wasnt like this in the 80s. Even schools in America are segregating classes by race now and white people being denied jobs or even auditions based on race. It's just another overeach like the trans issue.

Exactly what I was thinking when I started this interview

@edthewave in UK people are able to grow up in Britain sharing the same culture whilst also maintaining their heritage. I assumed it would be the same in America but for some reason Americans make it an issue. I'm curious why. It works fine in UK unless it's those from a culture that has extreme values and a few fringe people from that culture have decided to cling to those extreme values. Particularly that with extremist Muslims.

They only need it for the census or if someone asks their heritage. Otherwise it doesnt need mentioning.

@baz3575 I've said thos before. I find black-supremacists in America to be cultural imperialists in that they try to enforce their racial culture onto UK. I keep getting told I must call them "cornrows" and "locs" when in UK we grew up with Jamaicans and we call them "canerow" and "dreads" They constantly try to talk over those of us who live in UK. I had one black American woman who self-identified as woke who when I told her it was called canerow proceeded to tell me "I dont need you to tell me about my culture" in a hostile manner when it black British/Jamaican culture isnt her culture. Many of them view black cultures as a monolith. They cant accept that diff cultures have diff names for things and insist we call things what they do or do as they do with mo respect for how diff black cultures do things. And god forbid a white person like me tries to educate them on a diff black culturw that I've grown up with for the last 30 years.

@dylan-5287 not really If you're talking about someone and the other person doesnt know it takes two seconds to bring a video up as something to talk about.

@DieFlabbergast and we have been receiving the same education as those in uni via social media. It's why we've all gone nuts by believing this or being surrounded by those who do. I loved the days I didnt read the news and just did my hobbies with mates and we werent political and political couldnt divide us
