  4. I feel like some got comfortable to hide behind the history of other black people to be racist and that that comfortablity went too far. It was going on in the 90s and I felt it was hypocritical and hurtful but I pushed that aside as I wanted to hang out with them and tbf it was still relatively few and far between but still way more than it should have been considering I saw maybe two or three white people be racist in comparison (up until social media). I did wonder how much more racist stuff was said when I wasnt present. We were doing good in the 90s..even better in the 2000s and it really was an opportunity and perfect timing to put it behind us as we pretty much had. For it to take such a nose dive a handful of years later right when things had never been better is crazy and sad.

  5. ​ @freebornaiden7666 I dont know if OP meant "do better than white people" as opposed to "do better than what theyre doing right now". What with their being racism towards them in the past that was significantly more than what white people went through, speaking for the 50s-80s in UK and what happened in The US, then with that in mind they should have learnt that racism was wrong. When I was a teen I remember thinking that how can they be racist when they have the history they do.

  6. ​ @jazm3n there is no reason to think Andrew is making it up when we hear about these stories every so often. 1/5 hiring managers habe been told to stop hiring white people. White people being sacked first or when 14 white musicians were sacked from a music company in a diversity drive, some who were in their mid 60s and had worked for the company 20 years.
