@gerhard7323 My Indian friend dated a black guy and had a baby with him in late 90s and his friends disowned him because he refused to disown her. But in regards to Indians they still have a dual culture which is a bit like that, or was, in terms of having kids with other races. I think we grown since then and we know that as there are more mixed race kids now. But it wasnt a big race issue that was widespread.

It wasnt a thing in the 90s. I am same age as you. Grew up in The South of England and racism def wasnt this major thing atall. I heard literally a few white people be racist in real life that I recall. I saw more black people be racist to whites and each other. But I spent most my time around black people so there was bound to be some. I doubt the 80s was that bad either although I was a kid.

@andymac345 in your opinion when was the last time things were this bad. You mentioned this is the worst it's been in half a century so are you saying the last time it was this bad was in the 70s. I was born in the 70s but I was too young to notice anything so I'm trying to work out when we were last this bad.

@paultaylor7059 I was clubbing in the 90s with black people. It was generally fine then. There was racism but it was predominantly from black people. But still somewhat mild and def nothing compared to now. Even 8 years ago was way worse than the 90s.

@noname-qb7ir it wasnt like this. I grew up with black people and I have prob seen three white people be racist in my whole life (not including social media) and saw more black peoppe be racist to whites and other black people. But it was extremely mild in comparison to what has been building since 2010. It was nothing like now. People who were on the party scene back then always say how mixed it was and how everyone was just getting along and race was mostly the last thing on our mind. I literally grew up working in black clubs. It was never no way anything like this. Something changed in 2010. That thing was social media. Racism went viral.
