  1. ​ @DieFlabbergast youre being extremist. People do use "they" in place of sex. You dont have to seek out things to be anti-woke about for the sake of it when someone isnt even being woke

  2. ​ @TTFN55 "they" can be used as singular or plural. Maybe youre not from UK but this is how we talk. Its only when one has established the person's sex in the convo that they would say the sex of the person thereafter.
