  1.  @a.nonimus6705  even the word trans has been changed from transexual to trans to transgender to mean someone who got a "sex" change (we all understood it wasnt literal before 2015) to now mean someone who dresses outside their stereotype and might have mild dysphoria.

  3. ​ @monotech20.14 gender means "genre". So gender can very much be used to refer to sex and has been for years hence "the gender pay gap" and "gender discrimination" etc

  4.  @johnroberts3824  also gender is used when talking about male and female ends on electrical wires. Same with language. Masculine and feminine are used to categorise words. Not based on human stereotypes but just as categories. So gender means sex. However it can also mean masculine and feminine. Activists conflated the latter usage about butch/effeminate types not realising it doesnt stretch to mean sex in their usage.

  5.  @TomasFunes-rt8rd  well funny you should say that. We had a tr@Nn.3 come into our work the other day and I know if I brought it up my colleagues would likely have said he was transexual and not appreciated me highlighting the diff.

  6. I disagree. Many of those ppl have been brainwashed. Once you put that on their record theyre effed. And "sex offender" implies physical child abuse.
