Love her point about how we used to be friends with those who were politically diff. I grew up with some Jamaican lads when I was younger and like with many Jamaicans they were homophobic. We were still mates. Now one of them has said he's glad he isnt homophobic anymore due to living in my town. So hint being exposed to diff people made his views change. That's how we grow as people. It's so easy to want to cut the woke off or those hard right but if we do that we cant grow as a society

Some of those are crimes that exist outside UK. I think in UK men and women have their own issues at a more balanced measure than the way depicted above. Men are at higher risk of homicide (73% male) and suicide (approx 75%) as two examples.

@jayjee735 doesnt mean those men who are killed or kill themselves deserve it. And yes, women self harm more. I was one of those who attempted suicide. I know all that. And I dont understand your reference about bespoke programs for diff sexes. I never mentioned that nor claimed I have an issue with that. Very random.

I'm so glad you chased her up on that fireman outfit comment..I thought you were gonna let it slide. The disparity is most likely because not enough women have raised the issue higher up enough for the people concerned to realise there is an issue. As for equality it doesnt mean men are the default as equality can be achieved via a compromise. So on those two points her thinking seems faulty to me. She assumes it's some agenda to put women off working for the force. That needs to be backed for that claim to be made. Same as the claim Floyd was killed due to his race needs proof otherwise it can largely be dismissed. And she assumes one man feeling entitled means that's more across the board. There needs to be proof for that claim that disparities are driven by discrimination
