Also extremely hypocritical. I've got so many friends posting this racist rhetoric on social media that I've just decided it's easier to come off social media rather than create enemies but openly deleting specific people.

Nick Cannon from Wild N Out? The racist dude?

@tigervalley62 I was unable to work for a very long time due to illness so relied on benefit. As a result I find ling work hours a struggle so still get help. What are your views on those who cant work or cant find work but need money to survive? Also I have a medical health issue which requires regular, life-saving medicine which I wouldnt be able to afford. I saw one man racked up a million dollar bill on his covid hospital stay. I think basic health provisions should be necessity..

@nickwyatt9498 many refugees sneak in meaning we cant have a limited budget. Or do you mean just stop providing welfare up to a certain point that if refugees come we dont offer money? The thing with that is if we refuse them then would we also refuse our own who bring new births into the country. Not sure if I misunderstood your point or not

It's funny Konstantin mentioned race playing on our tribal instincts and how it could be more of a divider. I personally find sex is much more of a divider than race. When I hang out with or interact with men I'm more aware of our diff and they come in to play much more than race does. Race rarely comes into play whereas gender does more imo

Yes! Got excited to see this guy in the thumbnail. This is the guy from Dont Divide Us? Think I'll enjoy this episode.

Check out his interview with SaRa. He did a good job of putting his side across in his interview with him.

@iAmTheSquidThing I've never seen him say anything racist but he did say "f**k Palestine" so while he may have issues with extremists there are innocent civilians in Palestine, just as there is in Israel. I cant remember the man's name but he was the son of Hamas and he does talks about how its Hamas and Israel's government who he feels are the problem. Not the innocent civilians on either side. The man is question was originally part of Hamas. And Tommy has also walked up in mosques being a tad intimidating. Not sure if those particular mosques harboured fundamentalist preachers.

TimeZ Keepertool this guy is trying to fight extremism aswell. Did you even watch the interview? Do you even watch any Triggernometry interviews because you're way off the mark in your assessment.

@gregorytaylor9104 I'd have to watch back the interview to catch that part as I dont recall.

@gregorytaylor9104 I've had an ex-Muslim friend not be able to say hes ex-Muslim because they will kill him. He told me not to talk about his atheism on his social media. It's a trickey subject and needs to be approached a clever way to win people over.
1
@gregorytaylor9104 also I think if there are Muslims who dont feel a part of the community and arent integrated there is room for extrmeism to breed. Maajid Nawaz experienced racism and it's what led him to become an extremist. Of course now he speaks out against extremism now and debates people on it. He even spoke with one guy who was another ex-extremist who wanted kill Maajid. They can now both talk about what led them to that thinking. End of the day most Muslims are just getting on with it like most people. Demonising a grew whole group is what leads to defensiveness and them hating those attacking them or their right to their belief. If they are moderate in their beliefs it's best not to push them to become polarised. They're entitled to have freedom of thought/belief like anyone else.
1
@gregorytaylor9104 Oh wow. Didnt know that. And yep, you're right. The radicals take someone leaving the faith personally. The mind on any dogmatic ideology is a dangerous thing difficult to reason with.

Can you guys explain more. I'm not familiar. What do you mean by civic nationalism, dissolution and Balkan ism?
1
As a leftie he's right. It's one of the reasons I started to dislike The Left. Because I saw how thick my friends are and how bad their reasoning skills are especially in terms of topics over race when they should know better. I mean in my mind it was The Left who potentially were more racially diverse. That could be my own assumption because of the political leanings of my friends who were mostly ethnic minorities.
1
@samchaleau take heart that only 12% of UK identify as woke. Although with 30% of the population being Labour voters that works out at about 42% of The Left think woke is a good thing.
1
@JohnSmith-hs1hn yeah, and some of us will be swiping because we like black men. Do you like all races sexually?
1
@JezaLoki neither was Christianity but it had its period of enlightenment.
1
@IrridiumX The thing is by calling out Islam in mainstream media there are ignorant people who will assume all Muslims believe and practice those parts based on those interpretations. It could serve to create more extremists on both sides. You have to remember for some of these people Islam is a core part of their identity. You have to dissect the bad interpretations and allow people to retain their beliefs.
