  2. Being English-born vs ethnically English is not the same thing. Growing up I was English, my friend was Jewish, my other friend half Persian, my other friend Indian, my other mate Jamaican. No matter what younger ppl think and whether they like it or not this was how we defined ourselves growing up. We were all born in England but birth place doesnt change your ethnicity. It only speaks to your nationality.

I hate how self-absorbed some of these ppl are assuming only they have to defned themselves based on their demographic. Everyone has to these days due to ppl boxing others in and characaturizing them

  5. I see Ash as Asian, not English as growing up we (me and my black and Asian mates) always defined people ethnically, not nationally. But she is from England. So in that respect we can call her natively English as she was born here.
