  3. It's a fringe thing. Fringe conservatives are the same. I was woke before because I felt conservatives were too judgemental and moralistic. Now it's those on the left doing the moral posturing.

  4. Most leftists arent woke but woke culture is practiced mostly by The Left. I'm a leftie and its blatantly clear to me The Left are pushing this.

  5.  @emilianosintarias7337  I'm not American so cant comment on DNC as dunno what it is. But in UK half of left-wingers are woke. Half arent. And many of those who didnt vote Labour last election were first time Tory voters so still lefties but felt Labour had become too radical to vote for anymore. Our conservative party are quite liberal and even far-left in some respects. Nadine wanted to ban "offensive comedy". And Boris wanted to ban "blackface" despite your average black working class person loved blacked up comedy shows. Intersectional woke are very much of The Left. I also grew up under some cancel culture, the type George Carlin discussed. Puritan conservatives. But the poles have shifted and it's the Left clamping down on free speech and "offensive language" and right-wingers pushing for free speech. I cant speak for what you grew up under and what side was pushing what but we're talking about here and now. Most people are in agreement it The Far Left who are the issue. I began as an SJW on social media and so did many lefties. It was somewhere around 2010 it began and we went off the rails. But for those of us old enough to know life before SM we saw what was happening. This was never meant to enter our institutions and public life. It was just meant to be Fbk banter that influenced some minds. Not to make people start cancelling others and clamping down on free speech. This is my side who arw doing this. My side who branched off into radicalism and my side who changed. I have had to distance myself from those who have gone extreme. Your experiences and angle are obviously diff but I def dont see it how you do. Those who claim to be socialists def love capitalism as they fund it daily and couldnt live without it. They would hate real socialism enacted fully. They're playing with it whilst it doesnt effect them directly. But it will come for them as it always does. Gen Alpha are seeing this for what it is and hopefully bring back the balance against Gen Z who were mis-raised on social media.

  6. The only thing I will say is I grew up with some racist friends who pushed this stuff on a lower level. The whole "you're trying to be black" rubbish. Then social media started claiming this was white liberals in acadamia who started this woke stuff. For me it was my side who did and who maybe entered college and started to push this. And we know about The Frankfurt School. Without social media I dont know how far acadamia would have reached and whether we can blame them but black comedians growing up were often racist. This isnt confined to the middle classes. We can argue socialists in capitalist unis pushed this. But its getting into the weeds. Everyone will have come to this stuff via a diff Avenue. For me black people were already singling out white people in the 90s in UK and calling othe blacks sell outs. This was never something any of my mates picked up directly from acadamia as none of them were academics.

But the kind of comedy Nadine wanted banned was the stuff woke-leftists want banned. Things about trans stuff etc So our conservative party does have some extremist left mps. Boris wanted blackface comedy banned but he was against kids transitioning. But I consider that still far left because it should be a norm that kids dont transition. So Fox is becoming left-wing? I am from UK and we didnt have SJWs here until after 2010 due to us connecting with Americans via social media. I've been told before they started 20 years earlier in The US. I know The Far Left means the working class, anti-capitalists. I said that earlier. Loads of working class people attain managerial positions. My boss for one. Her family transcends from gypsies. Yes, identity politics is about image and narcissism. But to deny it has afflicted The Left and permeated them when I have seen it change my friends with ny own eyes is speaking from a place of denial and ignorance. Unless you yourself are left-wing and working class how are you speaking on this. These are my friends and associates and I've seen what it's done to them.
