@Yourismouter yep. I went to a Labour Conference and heard from those supposedly anti-semitic Labour speakers, many who were themselves Jewish. They even had an Israeli peace-speaker Miko Peled came out and supported them. However it's possible some members of Labour are anti-semitic. But many who were accused werent. There was literally fractions within Labour because two diff lots of Jews in Labour couldnt agree on the Israel issue. It's a bit like when black people get told they're not black anymore for not towing the party line. Being against "Zionism", right or wrong, doesnt automatically make someone anti-semitic as many Jewish people dont agree with how Palestinians are treated and prob the majority of people in that area just want to get along. But I dont really understand much about the conflict except even Jews dont agree on the topic.

@chimesmedia2331 she was def wrong there. I've been sexually harassed and sexually interfered with at work by make colleagues/bosses. I didnt sue or leave as I needed the job and basically allowed things to happen because I didnt feel I could stop them. I suffered extreme depression at the time. I feel Ella is either very strong or has options to fall back on. I dont.

@Yourismouter Jackie did an amazing performance piece that day at The Labour Conference. Almost had me in tears.

I used to love Alex Jones until I stopped being a conspiracy theorist.

@briancunningham594 my abortion saved me mental anguish. I dont want kids. Was thinking this morning how I have no regrets and glad I did it. And I dont see a lump of cells as a baby. However I'm not with her on the late-term abortion unless a woman's life it at risk.

I think she portrayed her point unclearly on that one as I wasnt sure what she meant. I think she felt it was implying women must always breastfeed and thus women are then stuck with looking after kids all the time. She didnt broach that very well and I agree we need to know breast milk is better. Apparently it's even better for a childs longterm IQ.

. I mostly agree with Ella but I didnt agree with Ella about her point on bosses not taking advantage of their power with women and I'm glad Konstanin raised this power issue. You could potentially sue your boss but if you have rent to pay you're likely to put up with it. I have been in two jobs where I worked with men and in one I got sexually harrassed/bullied by my boss and his friends who worked there and ended up allowing stuff to happen to keep my job and suffered with extreme depression crying every day until I was sacked as the depression was so severe I didnt even have energy to stay on top of housework let alone look for a new job. My second situation my boss used to literally get his dick out in his office under his clipboard. And he did the same with another girl who worked there. He once made a sexual comment/joke about "go on, show us your pussy". So Ella may be stronger or not relying on rent money but many women will put up with it when they need that job to literally survive.

I dont agree that rape is always about power. Often its entitlement where the person wants what they want regardless of the other persons desires.
