People shouldnt be allowed to vote until theyre 25

@xmathmanx I read a study that when people hit 40 they become more conservative. That's a natural progression from our society becoming more liberal over the years. So no, I'm not right-wing. As I think the voting age should be over 25. Those people are still liberal but they would have had some life experience and not be led by peers or media so much. In the last elections I voted Labour for the main and Green for local. Dont think I'll be voting for Labour in its current state but not because I'm now right-wing but because Labour have splintered into two and half have gone hard-left. So it's too risky. Otherwise I prob would have continued to vote for them. It's why many life-long Labour voters voted for Tory last election. Because Labour didnt represent them anymore and we're stuck in a two-party system. Peoples voting position is a bit more complex than "you must be right wing" simply for me wanting adults to vote. At 25 the brain is also fully formed. Lots of reasons. Not because I'm right-wing. I'm only just into my 40s and actually an ex sjw and quite liberal. I just think kids have a lot of negative influences atm. We need to be mindful of that when handing them the power to vote.

@rasmuszaurins7233 I havent watched the whole thing so dont know what she did/didnt say but I have Muslim friends and they're not all extremists. Defending Muslims isnt the same as defending Islam or aspects of it. I think most people can agree the Abrahamic religions have a lot wrong with them.

@xmathmanx yep. I doubt they would lift the voting age. There would be uproar. And it would prob be seen as undemocratic. Its just such a shame that the world has gone mad at the moment otherwise I wouldnt even be thinking it in the first place.

@xmathmanx Ok. I thought you understood my position from my last comment but obviously not. I said it would be undemocratic. Anyway you're trying to argue for no reason . Laters muting

But that's the whole point. No two people are the same.

@xmathmanx I disagree. Because we now have a hard left it would help The Left to eliminate young voters and get The Left back on track so those people who left Labour and voted Tory last election will return.
