  1. They didnt murder him. They legally killed him as he was a threat at the time based on him being in possession of the gun.

  2. ​ @skinnybuddhaboy Mark was half black too. Just to highlight. But yes, he had a loaded gun and was a threat and the officer had a split second to assess the situation and risk to her and her colleague's lives.

  3. ​ @Jadco09 well, the police were told he had the gun and he ran from them with something in his hand. He may have dashed it out the window. He could have avoided his death by giving himself up.

  5. ​​ @agbju4n if you are in possession of a gun and running from police with something in your hand police are legally allowed to kill you if they think whats in your hand is the gun and that you may use it on them. It turned out to be his phone as the gun had already been dashed away. He could have let himself get arrested and they may not have even searched the surrounding area if they didnt find the gun on him. He jumped out his car with his phone in hand which the officer thought to be the gun. She had split seconds to make a choice.
