  2. I'm white but lately society tells me I'm not allowed to identify with the black culture I lived and grew up with. I find it hard to have conviction in the face of people screaming I'm racist for expressing a culture I love. It's weird where we're at as a society.

  8.  @gpeace9187 exactly. Since meeting many Americans online I've continued to find it wild that people call essentially white people black. Genetic heritage is not the same as colour. In UK this woman is basically white with a smidge of something else. We wouldnt ID her as mixed at a quick glance even though you can tell she has something in her. We call those blatantly mixed as mixed-race.
