@dloesch I call Blaire she as she is passing. I call Debbie Hayton a he as it feels unnatural to call him a she because he doesnt pass. And that's how its supposed to work. We've never called masculine transexual men "trans-women" until the last 5 years. Even Blaire has said the term "trans-man"is accurate during her interview tih Richie Herron who used the inverse and original terminology.

"Assigned at birth" is not for those who are correctly ID. Its for intersex people.

@commandershepard9920 cis was initally used to demean non-transexuals. Ive seen the discourse online when it was first used.

@onamattapeeya I think its one thing to not call someone what they dont like vs enforcing others to call them what theyre not. Calling me a woman instead of cis doesnt make a diff as its still accurate. I dont have to call a transexual man(trans-woman) a woman as I can get around it by calling them a trans person.

@commandershepard9920 it is a problem to call me cis. I don't like it and its is largely and initially used as an insult in public discourse. People who think its ok are usually the same ppl who expect us to call tramsexual males "women".

@commandershepard9920 well we cant generalise people so...

Isnt birthing person only used for transexual mums? They can write mother for real women.
