@brassy49er37 Go check out Yoppie, a sanitary towel company from UK who literally used the term "bleeders" on one of their ads. They had to issue an explanation later. They claimed it's because women bleed when they menstruate and the ad was for menstruation. Such a cop out.

I mean we can literally use the terms we already had so "pregnant woman" or "pregnant trans-man". We had terms already. And if anything if reaffirms them by calling them a trans-man. But they dont like that we seperate them from real men and women by putting trans infront. We need to yse our own language as much as possible so it runs off on others Because otherwise they erase it and we forget our own language if we use theirs all the time, even in jest. I've genuinely forgotten how I used to phrase a lot of stuff. I keep going to say "community". I never used that term before. I'm reclaiming my old language back.

The joke is "identify" actually comes from "identical". They are not identical to women.

My health advisor at the gp sent me an email with her pronoun. Needless to say I never followed up the app. She was a real woman aswell. No need for the pronoun atall

@berryboy888 if you want to change your terms then fine. Do you. Dont force us to change ours. That's not your place

@carolinerobinson8816 yep. They can say women and trans people. Change their own name. Not ours

@snowflake_18 ok. So women and pregnant people. Women still want the name woman. I dont want to be called a bleeder as one company used the other day.

@berryboy888 "trans men". That's the key word. They are still women.

Bob Shingles but not every male can ejaculate. You're marginalising the impotent

The trans terms should only apply socially. Not medically or officially in media. The other day there was a sanitary towel company using the term "bleeders".

@berryboy888 "people without a uterus..who do not identify as female". You mean trans-men? Also I'm not a cis-woman. I'm a real woman. And you are taking our dignity away. Calling us "birthing people", "people with uteruses", "bleeders". Erasing women and a category puts women and young girls at risk. Look at how womens and children's safe spaces have been infiltrated by people self-IDing. We have terms already. Trans-male, trans-female, male, female. There is absolutely no reason other than mental illness and agenda to change or add to those names. They're fine as they are. If you want to talk about trans-men being pregnant then use that term. "Noone is taking anything away from you". Dont remove "woman". We dont want you to. That's not just changing things on your side but changing ours. Its unnecessary and not really their place. Pregnant trans-man is identity-affirming anyway. It has man in the title.

I'm calling them "pregnant trans-men" vs "pregnant women".

I'm happy to say "pregnant women and trans-men".
