I had body dysmorphia going through puberty and many kids do. Its a difficult time. Also painful when breasts grow. Plus with unwanted attention and the oppurtunity to prevent or reverse that I dont blame some kids.
37
Noone thought Kim K created them. They just called them Kim K braids so ppl knew the pattern ppl meant
4
I agree except I would correct your last part that the person is truly dysphoric not trans as they have decided not to trans.
3
Same with women who wamt hysterectomies.
3
@everydayvacaytaj you dont. You let them wait until their of sound mind and body. Our frontal lobe involved in decision-making and consequence-recognition doesnt stop growing until late 20s.
2
So she isnt ok when there are incidents where black women are told to how to wear their hair yet she is doing it indirectly to Kim and other non-black women. So then if non-black ppl cant wear them can we set out a boundary that black ppl cant? And ehat this young girl fails to understand in all of this is the double standard only applies when it happens in the SAME establishment. If a black woman is sent home for the exact same style as a white woman who isnt that is when this girl would have a point. However so many black women are allowed to wear their hair how they want with no issue. Thus the same should apply for anyone else of any race. Otherwise the person saying other races cant wear braids shouldnt wear them either by their own arguement and logic

Im so sorry❤❤

@Shadywolf09 sadly many arent given a year of therapy. There have been whistleblowers who spoke out about this. One interview on Triggernometry
1
Who's here for the addictive Goose rizz?
1
He's the Rizzmeister.
1
@supernova11711 my colleague had a stroke from.the pill and now has to take warfarin so she doesnt bleed out if she gets a cut.
1
@lurklingX a 12 year old in The US was given a masectomy. Blaire White spoke about this
1
@lurklingX puberty blockers are given before puberty starts so it def starts before 18.
1
@Endtherinbetween the prefrontal cortex is related to decision-making and consequences. Kids dont understand their choices are long-term or the risks involved
1
@doumarhan the best treatment for a child is therapy and making them eait til theyre old enough to transition. 90% of kids transitioning are gay and struggling to accept that. 80-90% desist and dont have dysphoria as they age. We used to protect kids from fgm/male cicumcision. What happened? When did liberals become the ones trying to trans thr gay away and chopping kids up?
1
@Endtherinbetween hormone blockers do have permanent effecta though
1
@BudgetFilmmaking actually 80-90% of kids decide they dont want to be trans. Thats the majority
1
@elouise5593 your neice can sue Lupron. Other women have
1
@hibaabdelgalil330 name one workplace where a black person was sent home yet a white person had the same style and wasnt sent home. I can tell you there are countless workplaces black ppl are allowed to wear their hair which means so can other races
1
@hibaabdelgalil330 also all races have historical records of wearing braids so yes, we do get credit for them. The girl in the video falsely claims Kim K got credit for creating this style. Calling them "Kim K" braids is a reference. Not giving credit. Two diff things.

@7663226 puutting ones palms together would be considered part of the language. I speak Korean and with Korean you do things like bow. Or in Thai you put hands together to say thank you. Its how to do their etiquette correctly. You cannot actually communicate in that language without doing the correct body language with it otherwise its considered rude. Now taking a photo woth handa clasped isnt necessary but it isnt bad and if anything is a respectful gesture. The fact ppl dont understand how language and etiquette works and how cultures are respectfully imitated whilst complaining about doing the culture justice is amazing to me.
1
@rareonyxx2095 white ppl have been sent home for canerow and dreads too. Its happened in my country.
1
@rareonyxx2095 also you claim others are insensitive and that it doesnt effect us. Have you thought maybe it does consdiering youre telling us we cant wear these styles and its you being insensitive. Have you personally been told how to wear your hair? I bet there are loads of black ppl who have never had that experience yet Ive been told over and over how to wear my hair. So yes it directly effects me because I actually do canerow my hair.
1
@ronaldtaylor8326 braids arent informal so much as the style. Nuff women wear casual braids or clubbing braids with excessive patterns and over the top finger waves. You cant rock up in a profession job looking like youre about to hit some backstreet club
1
@ronaldtaylor8326 ok so white ppl are demeaned for wearing canerow and braids yet black ppl who do that like yourself dont take responsibility and just keep projecting back out.
1
@thehelm658 hun. You speak for yourself. Im white and have been canerowing my own hair and doing black ppls hair for 30 years and they pay me. This racist gatekeeping started about 7 years ago. Im not paying attention to a racist, internet trend
1
@salasiasessions noone was born with braids
1
@rae3312 you say "its not your culture" yet canerowing has been my culture prob longer than you.
1
@rae3312 calling random white ppl the oppressor is mad. Yet youre the one telling others how to wear their hair. Smh youre lost
1
@dominiquewyatt6704 white ppl have been sent home for wearing braids aswell as beat up for wearing them. Black ppl arent special in this. If you are telling someone how t wear their hair then guess what, youre one of those ppl discriminating
1
@JST03 I love cultural appropriation actually. Everyone does except yusually black Americans who complain about specifics things being appropriated related to them. They themselves appropriate other cultures all the time from the food they eat, clothes they wear, hairstyles they do. But other ppl dont complain so you dont know the origin of half the stuff you use. Because we arent petty and racist
1
@JST03 canerow isnt a recent style. Its been worn by Vikings,Romans, Asians etc. From ppl could weave baskets and rope they were doing the same with their hair.
1
@Nethanda how are you going to say only black ppl are expected to wear their hair diff on a thread where white ppl are told how they can/cant wear their hair. on top of that white ppl have been sent home for canerow and dreads.
1
And they call us fragile
1
@0042-u1r look up the recent CASS review and the WPATH files. Also to add 90% of kids being transitioned are gay and 40% are autistic. This is a huge medical scandal. This is gay conversion therapy all over again.
1
@raya_atayeva the meds arent reverisble. Listen to this woman's voice. It causes irreversible male-pattern baldness, infertility, osteoporosis, kids bones dont grow, boys penises and girls breasts dont grow. You cannot come off them at 18 and resume puberty as the window for development is gone. It causes chronic joint pain, scoliosis, MS, effects diabetes insulin levels, one girl got cancer cysts from the meds and died two weeks later. And more. No it ismt temporary. It also stunts brain development
1
@bonberryproductions7955 define "trans rights"? Some ppl thibk that means affirmative care and rights ti meds as kids
1
Also surely it's about context. If she didnt do it in a derogatory fashion then why does she not view it the same way Scatman Crothers and other black actors who went on The Minstrels did? Black people like this attorney are insecure and pathetic.
1
@CS48293 she isnt repeating history though. Nothing she did was offensive. She simply wore a mask.
1
@mackcheese5202 without seeing the video I cant comment. If she was clowning wearing make-up and saying "yo ni**a" then she wasnt using it in a derogatory way.
1
@mackcheese5202 it all depends on the context though. Were those people making fun of black people or just imitating them?
1
Huge .medical scandal
1
She was given meds after a week. Terrible.
1
@jethrowashington396 minors dont. There arw cases of whistleblowers and detransitonors speaking out where they were given meds young and very quickly
