@michellejean11 you assume people detransition due to pressure. Did you hear about the young boy who was forced to take puberty blockers by his parent and doctor after he freaked out for an hour in the surgery and the mum was talking about the stress of convincing him to take it and the cost that would have incurred had he not gone through with it. Many adult trans deeply regret their transitions for their own personal reasons. Roshante Anderson regrets his transition deeply. He had it because he was born intersex and wanted to be "normal" but he deeply regrets it.

@michellejean11 so you said the main cause people transition is due to harassment. So is that your way if acknowledging there are also people who realise it wasnt right for them? At no point did I claim people only detransition due to regret so not sure why you aimed that at me.

@r-platt it's all terrible. I dont know why you think because one is allowed that it makes the other ok. They're all wrong. They're children ffs. And how are those kids getting help when 80% will desist after puberty. You're medicalising them for life and giving them many potential health issues. Look into the issues from transitioning by trans people and detransitonors. We're talking about kids here so you better be dambed sure of what oure supporting when it comes to irreversible surgery and chopping off body bits and sterilisation. Testosterone shortens a man's life by 12 years. We have no idea what synthetic testosterone does.

I shall assume you are spam posting the same comment under others OPs without reading the OPs you are posting under. To elaborate we have seen an increase in racism since wokism appeared. And I'm wondering to what level that increase is. Understand?. To respond to your unrelated comments. 1. Medical groups support it because profit. Politicians oppose it because maybe they want votes or can see the harm caused. Pundits oppose it because maybe they believe what those who say its wrong to transition kids. I dont listen to them and go with what I believe that kids cannot decide something so life-changing especially as 80% desist after puberty. Which leads me on to point 2. I'm not shaming LGB kids which is why they should wait until after puberty to see if they desist 3. It is better to make kids wait longer than risk irreversible surgery. Especially when those seeking to be trans has increased so much we can assume it isnt legit and many more will desist than before.
