  1. I think we concluded a while ago that while a system hack would be annoying it has limited harm and longevity. More insidious is the long term data mining and manipulation by control of systems like Tik Tok and 5G networks. Again our data is already hacked a thousand ways to Sunday so limited effect there. If AI were able to insert a self encrypting virus that was dormant long enough to get imprinted into the backup discs of companies and scramble data including backups that would be catastrophic. Imagine waking up one morning to find your bank account had magically increased by 100,000 and your stock retirement plan now showed you owed a half million in shares. Would you spend it fast? Especially if you knew your other bills now were ten times higher?
