  3.  @ronarnett4811  Not sure I get your point Ron. Peter predicted China would collapse and it is. It's precipitated by XI who may be using it to lock down control. The deglobalization trend will severely impact China's economy. Disruption is going to localize production in a new way and shippng will be affected. The four horsemen scenario is a real possibility but only if we are unable to mitigate and adjust consequences of change. We're pretty good at adjusting. Shitty at predicting and preparing but that's the animal we built.Sorry globalization gutted your job.Whatever the reason for it I hope you understand it was instigated by the plutocratic elite (republicans) looking to produce cheaper in China. We should have elected Gore instead of Bush to fix that. Either way America's future outlook is brighter than any other country in the new regime. No one knows how it will look yet as the impacts of AGI and automation are just beginning to take effect and major disruption from armed conflict can break it's direction.
