Bibi needs conflict to remain in power and sees Iran nukes as an existential threat that must be eliminated now. He needs the US to do that they can't cross two countries to take out Iran's infrastructure. The threat is real to Israel. Iran likely already has a working nuke. Israel cannot live with an Iranian sword of Damocles over their head. In one way or another this escalates to a monkey missile shit chucking contest with or without the US.
