Kyler was never gonna be seen as consistently tough because he was the obnoxious school bully & his character's purpose was to provide motivation to our heroes to become fighters, he was always gonna take a lot of ass beatings even though realistically he has a big physical advantage over all the kids on this show, but that's called plot-armour & fan-service.

  8. Haha. Pink Flamingos. As a Brit I had to buy it on DVD exported because it's never had a distributor over here, but man that film's messed up. Such an extreme comedy we'll never see the likes of again, it really is the daddy of bad taste movies & for this reason I love it.

  9. The Birth Of A Nation is something to see for a good many reasons. Aside from how amazing & ambitious an achievement of filmmaking it is for it's time, you also have to see it to believe the extent of how incredibly racist it is.

  10. Best performances I've seen in TV series this decade were in Season One of True Detective & also the excellent mini-series The Virtues with Stephen Graham. Both shows were two of the finest dramas I've ever seen.

  14. Love seeing all these cold cases getting solved thanks mostly to genetic genealogy. DNA is fascinating, it's mad what they can do with such evidence now. Just a shame it doesn't help with high profile cases where there is no DNA evidence to examine or much of any other evidence to help solve it either. Can think of a few I'd love to see solved off the top of my head.

Keane got a long-term injury when deliberately trying to foul Haaland backfired on him, he then got sent-off when they finally met on the pitch again months later when Keane cleaned him out with a knee high tackle in a deliberate act of revenge. It was classic. 😂😂

  33. I’ve never seen a studio that so ardently hates their own film as much as Warner Brothers do The Devils. Pretty odd for a studio who produced & has no issue celebrating The Exorcist to take such offence to the blasphemy in The Devils to the point they refuse to ever allow the Director’s Cut to see the light of day & don’t particularly want to distribute any version of the film period. I don’t really get the hypocrisy. Shame because the film is a masterpiece. The DVD release put out by the BFI though of the X Certificate version is still a cracking release.

  35. I'd say Jake The Muss vs Uncle Bully in Once Were Warriors. Both scumbag abusers but never has a film beatdown be more deserved than when Jake went into full on rage mode on Bully when the disturbing truth comes out at the end of the film. Proper raw & brutal fight scene whilst almost all these on the list are from fantasy/sci-fi cinema.

  47. I wish we still had The Simpsons as it was up to about Season 12. That show never ended but it declined immensely years ago. I'd rather watch the earlier ones 100 times over than any of the newer ones & I do.
