How else were they meant to handle it? Ronaldo couldn't accept the situation, caused a load of issues & even in Ronaldo's disrespectful actions Ten Hag still gave him more leeway out of respect than he would've anyone else who pulled the sort of crap that Ronaldo did over the last few months. It was always going to end fairly unsavoury. The only one who came out looking silly was Ronaldo especially as he flopped at The World Cup after that Piers Morgan interview the same way he has at United all season. Ronaldo is a hindrance to any team with serious ambition nowadays, the sooner he accepts it the better.

@vfamily4396 What planet are you fanboys on? How anyone can interpret what happened in the Summer as anything other than Ronaldo trying to force a move & nobody wanting him I don't know. Litterally every top journalist confirmed this to be the case so stop lying to yourself. Mendes tried pimping him out to any & every club in the UCL who could afford his wages, nobody was interested. Accept the reality.
