Possibly but it's been NINE games. Chelsea were top, looking strong, conceded about 5 goals after 14 games last season but barely made top four in the end. Spurs were top at Xmas the season before that & didn't even get top four in the end. Examples like this are not exactly in short supply. And it's not like Arsenal doesn't have form for falling away for the past decade & a half either. It's still too early.

@jayjay3334 You're obviously winning consistently enough if you are top in the first place. You could say that about Arsenal too this season, if you want to try to over-analyse in that way, I mean look at Liverpool this season, you wouldn't be top if they were the team they were for the previous few seasons either because you wouldn't have beaten them on the weekend. 🤷‍♂️ I'd take an Arsenal challenge a little more seriously if City weren't as ridiculously good as they are, I don't see Arsenal staying with them for the distance at all.
