  1. Only as a 4th option at CB for another year or two. United will try to sell him next Summer but wages could prevent it & so he would end up leaving for free the Summer after next. He certainly won't be getting a new deal. He's not the worst 4th option at CB you could have tbf but that's what his future at United is & it's short-term.
