When it comes to ability on the ball, none of those are on De Jong's level, not only for his passing but his balance & dribbling are top drawer too.

@vincentvries9854 The ability to score the odd banger makes no difference to the fact De Jong can control a game a lot better than Neves & I'm a fan of Neves. It's a ridiculous argument though to suggest we should pick Neves because he can score one or two worldies a season.

@vincentvries9854 They've not used him in his preferred role, he's now under the manager who mad him. Of course I can't be 100% sure he'll adapt as we hope to the PL but I definitely think he can handle it, he has a great tempo to his game & he's physically tougher than a lot of people appear to give him credit for.

@vincentvries9854 Nah mate, I never watch Wolves, I haven't watched the PL full-time for over 30 years. 😒 I told you Neves is a very good player but you need to relax. You seem to not satisfied unless I say he's absolutely incredible & a far better option than De Jong which is a madness. Relax. De Jong is better for what United need. I wouldn't describe De Jong as a regista as he has more strings to his bow that to simply label home that but how he orchestrates & will drive the transits in a possession-based system is perfect for Ten Hag's philosophy, Neves for his strengths & technicality is not that player.
