I know he wanted to give the players he inherited a chance when he came in, but come on, it didn't take a genius to tell you McFred are mediocre & will fail spectacularly to play a possession-based brand of football, midfielders should've been signed weeks ago. The fact we've started this season still with a midfield of McFred when midfield was the most urgent area that needed addressing not just for this Summer window but the whole of the last one too is inexcusable.
