@GIBBO4182 Not at all. When did he ever show up in a Final? He bottled the biggest moment of England's World Cup in many years too. His numbers are great but you'll never be able to look back on many truly memorable performances by him because he never delivered when it truly mattered.

@GIBBO4182 Salah scored the penalty when they won the UCL, Kane bottled the penalty for his country when it mattered. Nobody said he isn't a great player, he's never delivered in the biggest moments, that's just a fact. Nobody remembers a player half as fondly if they never lifted a trophy.

@GIBBO4182 I completely disagree with you, the best players carry their teams to major honours. Kane has done this in games in the PL against the best sides. Their win against City last season Kane gave one of the best individual performances in recent memory to guide Spurs to victory but he's not just never scored when there's actually a trophy on the line, he's been absolutely anonymous in those games. You don't need to necessarily score but actually play well, Kane has always shrunk on the big stage.

@GIBBO4182 And you can separate the two. Lukaku has an atrocious big game record. I was only talking about this last night funnily enough. Lukaku played a big part in Inter winning Serie A just being a flat-track bully but he's certainly a consistent big game bottler.
