  3.  @hick5y  Yeah, Linda Blair continued to get plenty of work directly following The Exorcist, it was only about 4 years later she did Exorcist 2: The Heretic too. That whole this movie messed Linda Blair's head up thing is complete nonsense, it's another one of those false rumours that's circulated for years that somebody somewhere made up & others just fed into it because it sounds interesting & cool considering the notoriety of the movie but it's just not the truth.

  6.  @champagin390  I've heard all about the curse nonsense. It was a long production with a lot of people working on it, things will happen, people will die as naturally as any other time. Load of silliness.

Eileen Dietz did the crucifixion scene, she did the scenes where Regan hits the doctor & later where she wrestles with & punches her mother because Eileen's punch was more powerful/convincing than Linda's, she also did the vomit scene & the scene where Father Karas attacks Regan after finding Father Merrin dead.

  9.  @Ken_Brooks  Yeah she did. A strap broke on her brace when they were tossing her up & down on the bed as I recall. Friedkin was a madman back then, he almost broke Ellen Burstyn's back too & he slapped the priest across the face before the scene where he gave Father Karras his last rights at the end of the film. LOL
