  2. Astrum You do imply that all tidally locked objects will have their orbits decay, right? But I was taught that the Moon is moving very slowly away from Earth – and yet our moon is tidally locked. How can this be?

  3. Astrum Perfectly, thanks! Missed that detail. It's not the tdl orbits themselves that decay, but the satellites orbits around an object in a tdl orbit, that does, right?
