  2. It's not true that human neurons either fire or don't. Neurons can regulate each other's propensity to be conducive to a signal and the tendency to block as well!

  4. Tom Spencer Not so easily done in words. Maybe one has to become aware of ones consciousness to know how essential it is to being? But on the other hand, can you explain how photons exiting your retina, then being cross wired and distributed to your occipital lobes, where it gives rise to neuro-electric activities – is actually somehow viewed by you? Last I checked, nobody had a clue. We can measure the discharges. We can map them. But we're clueless as to how they are gathered into a useful image. Are you aware of what you're saying? What you're thinking? Feeling? Can you prove all that is really real?
