I didn’t know we knew so little. I kinda hope he’s exacerbating our ignorance with a contribution of his own…

The Neanderthals had on average larger brains than modern humans. From this we can learn that larger brains doesn’t equal greater abilities… 😂😂😂😂

It is absurdly to assume that big brained neanderthals didn’t have spears imo…

@Lioness_UTV „… This subject is fascinating including how violent and territorially protective we are.“ I would say some of us are, some are not. The brits in East Anglia lived peacefully and agreeably with the danish Vikings who came as looters to the monasteries but settled as farmers among the brits. The brits even adopted the Danish laws as reflected in the name for the region, Danelagen – Danish Law. You say: „Which obviously served us well as we survived.“ – meaning the territorial violence, but that is speculation: I would think that any creature able to control its own environment would have a good chance of surviving. Then you state: „We share 99% DNA with Chimps and 98% with Gorillas.“ Personally I don’t share my DNA with anyone, just kidding, but how similar is our DNA to the common fruitfully? You again: "So it’s fascinating to observe them both to see if there are any similarities with us.“ No, it isn’t! When a peaceful giant vegetarian is brought in competition for food and living space with a violent, flesh eating and organised hunter, killing ensues and a new balance is struck – like for instance young Caffer buffaloes have learned to kill lion cubs.
