  3. Dennis Weidner I'm not denying a myriad of other reasons, just saying that without oil, no survival. Germany had already taken the southern Russian oil wells. The transatlantic supply lines were unsecure.

  4. Dennis Weidner Well, I happen to think Churchill had a very wide reaching and firm grasp on realities and possibilities even before silly Chamberlain returned from Berlin, waving his paper and declaring "Peace in our time". That's it from me.
