The bullet then explodes against the edge of the occipital bone sending up a cloud of organic matter above the presidents head – above because the bullet came in so low, just above the rim of the front car door. Several top-notch sharpshooters were involved in this assassination evidently to make sure that survival was not a possibility.

In plain language this means: "Okay, got it. America needs a more balanced trade. We'll comply without openly admitting that we were too greedy..." The EU will show token resistance in order that their heads of states not loose face.

I still can't get past the clumsiness of the assassination. It doesn't seem to fit "the highly professional agents from GRU" as Teresa May labels them. What would be the motive? Why use something as risky as novichok? Why do anything after 10 years of alleged inaction to spies once part of an exchange agreement? Why does the British government go out with these accusations without explanation or evidence? They don't even attempt to explain what possible motive might exist. This is something else and time will probably reveal the true machinations behind this strange story. What will happen if the two charged Russians appear in court to explain why the were in Britain – and who invited them?
