Trump is handling the deficit in all the effective ways possible: By reducing the number of troops in active combat. By reducing illegal immigration. By cutting down on the overgrown IC. By imposing tariffs that will create trade balance more favorable to America. Tax cuts on the contrary tend to reduce costs on production and delivery, compensating the tariffs other nations may try to retaliate with, while increasing revenue on trade and services, both. And we've already heard it from the European Union yesterday: They're recommending a "modest and cautious response to tariffs, aiming to restore good trade relations!" In plain language this means: "Okay, got it. America needs a more balanced trade. We'll comply without openly admitting that we were too greedy..." The EU will show token resistance in order that their heads of states not loose face.
