The Iranian government is always spoiling for war with someone and now they're hoping for Russian support. In the war with Iraq, the ayatollah ended up sending droves of young, untrained boys to the front, trying to pretend he hadn't lost. No! The war is coming and the US will have to take out all their military systems and dismantle their nuclear facilities beyond repair. They can't be trusted in negotiations. As of right now, everyone is simply jostling for international approval, but it doesn't much matter, because Iran is never going to back down. They may venture some apparent agreements, but will feel absolutely no obligation to stick to them. Trump sees this clearly, and won't dally. It's only a matter of months at this point.
