  2. GO_FAWK UR_SELF Perhaps guns favor sociopaths and the ruthless? Won't they always tend to be quicker on the draw? I too live where guns are prohibited, but that just means gunfights are among gangsters - and police against gangs. By passers still get hit. The expenses to the police force is higher. It took me years to understand the American approch and it has to do with the history of the nation, I believe. Today I can only say that in most of Europe it's still possible to feel safe without a weapon, but weapons are spreading and the police is under pressure. In The States I would prefer to have a gun handy... But as things stand, I'll simply stay away.

  4. thinga majiggy Guns are becoming more commonplace amongst criminals. That's what I meant by "spreading". My hunch is it has to do with immigration and open border poliltics and a more strained budget, leaving the police undermanned and strained for resources. You're insensitive remarks about how the dead feel is meaningless. We don't know if they feel and the relevant issues is how relatives feel about their losses. Did you have a point beyond that? If so, I missed it...
