  1. JoJo 70 No, not murder one at least. But she was heading home from work, fully armed and in uniform. Even if she thought she entered her own apartment (which has no big, red doormat) and managed to not notice the walls, decorations and furniture, she can't have acted in compliance with procedure, but must've fired immediately and perhaps even in anger, seeking revenge, because she had him cornered! She could withdraw to the hall, cover the entrance and call for backup. I also think there must be more to this incident than has come out. She was tested and found not under the influence, right? But sleep-deprivation can muddle your mind, too, in which case she was neither competent to drive or bear arms. The failure to spot the doormat and the different view of the apartment seems incredibly – unless she had poor eyesight and was hiding this from her superiors for fear of loosing her job.

  2. Charles Jones If witnesses testified that she yelled "let me in", she's dead in the water and without defense. Her claim of being afraid falls completely flat. This would mean she forced her way in, possibly in a state of anger thinking her apartment was being robbed – completely dismantling the fear-for-my-life defense.

  3. Not so much interested in her professed feelings. If she feels such remorse, she should act accordingly and testify, get it all over with and throw herself at the mercy of the court. She entered an unarmed person's home and she shot and killed him on sight. Just stop for a second and imagine how dangerous she'd be to her fellow officers and the public with such little sense. Oh, and btw, Abc, how did you reach the conclusion she's "remorseful"? I saw her breakdown during reenactment in court, but saw nothing to indicate "remorse". What I saw was regression, not unlike Blaisey-Ford, who btw seems to be establishing a pattern of sociopathic behavior, bragging about her ability to teach people how to beat the lie-detector and win "difficult rape-allegation cases".
