The establishment not only fear to loose money and influence, they fear a disclosure so devastating they'll never recover. How sad to witness such a crucial battle being fought with an arms race of weaponized lies supported by the leftist dominated MSM and corrupt republicans both. Politicians and reporters became so full of themselves they plum forgot their duty, purpuse and consern for the wellbeing of the people they were ment to serve. A lot of stability and predictability will vanish entirely before this battle is resolved. The establishment will probably turn to their time honored remedy of starting a war somewhere to distract and deflect. Possibilities are plenty, but this time it won't work so smoothly for two main reasons. 1) Trump won't allow long, drawn out wars with fake humanitarian agendas and 2) The people won't be so easily distracted. They don't trust the news nor the politicians and have far too many unsolved questions to field at home.

But it is of course possible that the necessary changes will have to go deeper and wider than anyone right now is comfortable imagining. Still, with an overview on history and current human evolution, compared to current political and systemic devolution, who can deny that changes are mandatory? So why not begin in a timely fashion and get back to the leading, global position? Why should postponements always seem more attractive to politicians than prompt reforms? Where's the leadership responsibility tucked away? Why, fx, is Sessions so "proud to serve the nation" if he's unwilling or incapable to act effectively to clear up the entrenched corruption?

And immediately after that, the entire 17 departments of the IC need to be reduced to 3, have their funding reduced accordingly and oversight brought back to realtime.
