I agree completely with you contributions except the one on brixit. No "huge fallout" will manifest, at least not for GB.
It's a huge problem with this crazy assumption that because Hillay is bad, the Trumpet must be good. He isn't! He's a terribly primitive sociopath and may even be worse than Hillary. If selected we are in for the worst abuse of power in recent history, only not hidden, but brazenly open.
However, since the level of awareness isn't yet higher and many will still cling to misplaced trust and illusory hopes out of fear, he probably is a necessary component in the process of awakening.
I can't and won't choose sides between pest and cholera, but I will do what I can to introduce some truth and clarity in these strange dealings. And just to be precise, I also think Obama botched the job terribly and wouldn't want to see his term prolonged either.
What's needed are a whole new kind of candidates and the electoral system probably needs some amendments to ensure a process of candidate-selections with more transparency, less media control and perhaps a preliminary hearing process, where thorough questioning is performed online and by the people - somewhat like a jobinterview for one of the more significant jobs in the world...

Well, it's quite an accomplishment to even have an exchange of views when we can't read the others face and body language. Yeah us!
To try for almost limitless longevity will be expensive, stupid and invite disaster.
I don't see any political, partisan or ideological solution to the mounting tensions in the world, but I do see immense promise in developing awareness without the shackles of religious mumbo.
That's my main motive for participating. Spiritual awakening is possible for sapiens - meaning awakening from the daydreamings of the mind to realize that we are not what we think, but rather the awareness of what we think, perceive and feel.
Put in another way, the mind doesn't produce awareness, it produces thoughts, but is just a vessel for consciousness.
The mind cannot fathom what consciousness is, and never will, but each and every living beeing can know it nevertheless, through simply being fully present.
When it happened to me for the first time that I became conscious of this possibility, I instantly realized two things:
1. This had happened spontaneously and often in my childhood, but I didn't pay attention then
2. It was the most natural state in the world to be in
I turned to my friend, who had brought me a tape of Eckhart Tolle to watch, which had elicited this reaktion in me, and said: "Why didn't you tell me this was possible many years ago?" - and instantly regretted my question, when I saw his sadness:
He understood. He was a highly intelligent philosopher. He knew of this possibility from his extensive studies. But he had never experienced it for himself. He couldn't share the miracle.
This is many years ago now, but I still take any opportunity just to tell others of the possibility.
It can't be taught. It can't be learned. But it can happen to anyone, if allowed. The ego won't allow it. It will distract you by any means. But still, if you listen for the silence between thoughts and happen to do it attentively, you might find yourself wondering "where do all these thoughts come from? Can I take a break from them or must they go on and on and... " 🤗

Except there's this little hiccup called the soul...
I know that many, who are highly intelligent like yourself, believe that the "I" (which is actually the "who") is a pattern in the brain and possibly could be transferred and permanently imprinted.
The un-ethics have already been extensively discussed in the 70ties. The implications are of course grim, but relax.
It can't be done.
It's only a fantasy, stemming from the ego's limitless fear of being switched off.
And by the way, how would you, even with cloning allowed, bring an infant through the developing stages of a normal brain which peeks at the age of three, changes immensely at puberty and isn't finished before the mid twenties, without the social and educational interactions?
You can't just keep them in a somnolent state and induce experience through the interface. Even if the mind was stimulated sufficiently, the body would be grass.
No, what you sketch may become possible, but you won't be able to transfer one "who-I-am" onto another to supplant the second and to live there.
But it may perhaps be used to interconnect more intimately than most are used to, thereby creating a stepping stone on sapiens way towards transcendent communication. But I promise you, the soul is quite untouchable. It may withdraw under terrible, sustained pressure. It may even leave the body. But:
It may not be manhandled!
So you just go ahead with your research and experiments. You'll inevitably learn something.
But do not dare touch one single child! Ever! The minute the world hears of this, and the truth allways comes out, everybody connected to such dealings would be summarily killed on sight by unstoppable crowds. No ethics or morals or belief systems are necessary when it comes to children. They may not be harmed. Notice how even devout catholics insisted the pope stopped the child abusers amongst their priests? Not even deep religious indoctrination can' stop anyone, if the children are threatened. Nothing can.
