The difference between these two is that Chris, though intelligent, used to identify completely with his job – which represented an egoic power game just as it did for his brother – and Chris thinks that’s how it must be for everybody, simply because his ego is massive and completely in-transparent to himself. Oh, and I’ll believe him to be a good, not „excellent“, but good friend to a friend in need because this elevates his status in his own mind. Tucker is a bit more than just intelligent, he’s wise, and never played the power game. He simply loves truth – like all wise men do – and can’t live being a sell-out. That’s why they never tried to coach him. They felt it couldn’t be done…

  5. Cuomo is unable to attain the neutral state of mind necessary to evaluate what presents itself before him. He will always fall victim to some prejudice he harbours before he get the full picture and will base his next angle on his preconceived ideas. I’m impressed by Tucker's ability to stay patient with him.
