  1. "The Universe was just sitting there, dormant, until someone, somewhere booted up a program" — doesn’t make any sense whatsoever! It’s actually worse than BB:  You have a dormant universe, all ready to go (who created that?) and then someone (a conscious, readymade 'booter') somewhere (inside or outside the dormant universe?) boots up a program (who wrote that?) and we’re up and running — only why would the program have any influence on the vast, dormant universe? Utter unmitigated nonsense, period!

  3. Why are you so hung up on linear time? Why must it be God or the Big Bang? Time is a concept we introduced in order to measure change. But that doesn’t mean the universe has a beginning and an end. That’s simply a projection from our limited mind.  Not a bad idea, measuring time, since everything changes — everything changes eternally! But in reality, time doesn’t exist!  All you know — and all you’ll ever know — is the Eternal Now! Consciously moving your attention from all the changes to the space in which everything changes, is a way to discover what you really are and what God is hanging around for…
